"Nightwatch" is the fourth solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins. It was released in 1978 and is considered one of his most successful albums. The album features the hit single "Whenever I Call You 'Friend'" which was a duet with Stevie Nicks and reached No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Other notable tracks include "Easy Driver", "Rainbow Connection", and "Nightwatch". The album was produced by Bob James and David Foster and was Loggins' first album to feature his signature sound of combining rock and pop genres with catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. "Nightwatch" was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and has become a fan favorite in Loggins' discography.
